2. It's also nice on the floor- add floor pillows
If your balcony is super small, the only thing that will help is cushions, which you can drape nicely on the floor. What?? Only pillows on the floor?

Hey, look at the Inspo pictures, even that can look good, is cozy and comfortable.

3. Bring in greenery
Pack your balcony with planters filled with lush plants to create your little urban oasis, you've always wanted. Add some herbs and bunch of mixed flowers to make your balcony smell as good as it looks and the bees will thank you as well.
4. Bring the indoors out – add a rug
A carpet on the balcony brings an extra portion of coziness and style to the small but beautiful balcony. Likewise, a rug adds another extra layer and can be a beautiful eyecatcher. Just make sure that it is also suitable for outdoor use, otherwise you will have to bring it inside (if you live in Germany πŸ˜‰ ) even in summer.
5. Hang up – add a hang chair or a hammock
Lying in a hammock somehow always feels like a vacation. So why not bring the vacation to the balcony? And the hammock also saves space and can be made aside at any time. A hang chair creates that extra something on your balcony and is definitely an eye-catcher.
6. DIY – Install built-in seating
Use every square foot on your balcony and install built-in seating. A big plus, if it's windy at your place, you don't have to worry about your furniture being knocked over or even flying away.
7. And there was light – add lighting
I'm sure you'll want to enjoy the evenings on your balcony too. It's just a bit sad when you have to sit in the dark πŸ˜‰ Many people just always forget about the light on the balcony, but it not only makes a good atmosphere, but outdoor pendants and wall lights look damn good and give your balcony that extra something. Should you live for rent, talk with your landlord or go for string lights or outdoor lanterns.
8. Go vertical – walls
Use the space, hang planters, weatherproof artwork or install shelves on the wall. This will feel like an extension and you'll have even more space on your balcony.
